Are the weeds getting out of hand?
At Rivergum Contracting, we can spray your troublesome weeds quickly and effectively using our backpack sprayers, and also have a 200L hand or boom sprayer available for those larger scale jobs needing attention.
Rivergum Contracting spraying service utilises spot spraying operations on private, commercial and government properties.
Our equipment enables us to undertake general farm spraying, dedicated horse & livestock paddocks, vacant blocks, roadsides and boundaries. We can also service residential blocks both on acreage or in town for general weed spraying.
All Rivergum Contracting team members are licensed and nationally certified to transport, prepare and apply chemicals. We consider the most effective herbicide and applicator for the work required and can advise on best options.
Weed Control
Weeds usually occur where grazing and farming activities have been concentrated – around stock yards, dams and along tracks. Many start as introduced pasture grasses or arrive on vehicles, in stock feed, or with cattle and sheep.
When not controlled, weeds can out-compete native plants, smother native vegetation and have the potential to change fire regimes by providing fuel for wildfires.
Once weeds are removed or reduced, native species can recolonise naturally or we’ll replant to help re-establish native habitats.
